About the Role

We are looking for a creative, experienced Social Media Manager who’s excited to make women’s daily self-care and mental wellness practices easy. You should know social channels, trends, and opportunities inside and out and be able to flex both creative and analytical skills frequently. You must be excellent at copywriting and have a stellar eye for brand aesthetics - and the ability to think outside the box on what will drive the most social engagement and ultimately lead to organic growth for Silk + Sonder.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the programming and channel strategy for Silk + Sonder’s owned social handles (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube) to increase brand awareness and reach.
• Research social and seasonal trends and tactics across different platforms to drive up organic conversions
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, marketing, and community operations teams to promote Silk + Sonder and produce organic content that drives up engagement
• Source and create UGC, plan and produce IGTV / IG Live / YouTube series to deepen Silk + Sonder as a leader in the self-care space
• Manage daily communication (DMs, comments, etc.) with customers, brands, and influencers
• Test, iterate, and innovate content formats that can be turned into repeatable formats or “series”
• Track, analyze, and produce a weekly report on social analytics that will enable data-led programming and content decisions
• Identify tastemakers, influencers, and key customers who can be turned into advocates, content creators, and other partners
• Own end-to-end social strategy and execution of content - from uploading, scheduling, caption creation, CTAs, etc across all social channels
• Help assist in creative strategy and execution of paid social ads 

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience planning, executing, and analyzing social media content (static, video, gifs, etc.) 
• Comfortable managing multiple channels, including any / all of the following: Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik Tok, Twitter, Linked In, Facebook
• Able to learn new systems quickly - bonus if you have experience with Canva, Planoly, Premiere and Later
• Skilled at crafting strategic communications, delivering the right message through visual and written content
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a culture of experimentation, yet values the need to organize and plan
• Excellent written and verbal skills and can communicate effectively with peers and senior leaders
